OK so I have played and enjoyed every Tiger game since I got TW99 on the pc. I'm a big time golf fan. I play it, I watch it on tv, and have become an EA supporter because of the Tiger Woods games. So of course when I got the Wii I couldn't wait for a TW game. Now I know it's just a port but TW07 on the Wii messed up big time for me in a couple of ways. First of all you can't change your clubs. This is crap. They call it a golf sim? In real life I use a 5 wood not a 2 iron. I also use 9 degree driver and a 60 degree lob wedge. In every other TW I've been able to change this including 07 on the ps2 but for the Wii they just left it out. If it's there please let me know cause I can't seem to find it. The last thing is the look of the game. Now I don't care much about graffics but different courses have to look different! Every green is the same dark color and on longer putts you can't even see the hole. It looked way better on the ps2 and the Wii should have ,at the very least, got the same game.

Sorry for the long rant but I'm mad that EA rushed this game.

You can't change your clubs? I find this hard to believe. Can someone else confirm this?

Agreed. Im fairly sure you can change your clubs. Thats not something they would leave out with it is a simple control thing.

I've asked this question on many boards and no one can give me and answer. A guy on the EA board said he contacted them and they never gave him a straight answer. If there is a way I would love to know.

Even little things like viewing your landing area and changing clubs can be done with ease while facing the TV or as you prepare to address the ball.Gamespot Review
Gamespot review says you can switch clubs.

yes changeing your clubs as in i'm 100 yds away and i want to hit sw and change it from pw. in other games there is an "in the bag" option where you can chage the 14 clubs in your bag. so for example if you want to have 4 wedges and no 3 iron you could do that.

The game gives you tutorials every step of the way...how could you not know that?

In order to change your clubs you have to press the 1 or 2 buttons. I'd played Tiger Woods on Wii and I was able to change my clubs everytime.

please read all the posts. i talking about the in the bag option which is not there. this is where your can decided which clubs you use. for yet another example you could chose not to have 3,4, or 5 iron and chose to have 5,7, and 9 wood.

No, my opinion, but that game sucked. its 'suppose' to be an arcade game, but riddle me this...Why the heck does it take abotu 45-60 min to play 18 holes? Arcade my butt...And, the ball physics suck, ball rolls way too much, even in the rough. Animatiosn suck also...The game is purely for kids under 18...

have you tried the TW golf Wii forum? I bet they will know...I will try it tonight and see. Have you actually purchased or earned endorsements to get new clubs? if not, why are you ranting about it when you have to have more than 1 type of driver, wood, iron, etc... before you can say if it doesnt give us that option?

Here is a link in the TW Wii golf forum that gives soem info...not much though... http://www.gamespot.com/wii/sports/tigerwoodspgatour07/show_msgs.php?topic_id=m-1-34196921&pid=934378 Again, I think you have to get endorsements to get diff clubs, then you might be able to look into the gameface/other optiosn and might be abel to change them(all of them) for the new set you purchased. if not, yeah, it sucks, but the game itself still rocks. They shoudl get that part right next time.

i have completed the tiger challenge and the 07 season winning every tournament so yeah i have all the endorsements. people dont seem to understand that in all tw games ,including 07 on the ps2, there is an "in the bag" option. in this option you can choose which 14 clubs you would like to use in the game. so if i dont want to use a pw i can change it to a aw or a gw. you can also change the loft of your driver from lets say a 10 degree to a 7.

I'm gonna have to agree with you on this one. I play golf so i can relate. I was really anticipating this game but there are so many nuiances that dissuaded me from purchasing it - worth a rental though. Instead, i'll wait for tiger woods 08 and hopefully, it'll be better.

Guys, trust me on this. I ampicky about golf games myself, and debated on getting this game, and even hated it the forst few hours playing it. But once you get into it, and build your guy up some, the game becomes alot more natural feeling to play. Yeah, I hate that we cant adjust the contact point of the club face to the ball and yeah I hate that maybe we cant change the type of club in the bag...it sucks for sure. But the game is still so much fun that I really dont care abotu those two things at all. i am trying to play as best i can with it and do prety good, but not liek those other games before where we coudl all score -15 per round. trust me. Rent it, and give it atleast a good days worth of play. and you might just learn to love it.
