I went there today to trade in my DS for a DS lite and everyone said that I would have to pay around 40-60 dollars extra to get the lite. I was fine with that payment. So I went there and they said that they would pay me 40 dollars for the system!!! I bought it for 200$ and I would have to add an extra 110 to the fund? I declined and now I'm saving for the Lite and I'm never trading in!!!
uuummm... the ds only cost $150... so if u paid $200, u got ripped off from the beginning... and besides, y would eb give u like a $100 trade in???!!! i think u have no idea what goes on!!!
Yeah, have a buddy in australia who had the same problem. Unforunately the trade-in price you heard was probably from american's, so it's to be expected.The only constant across the world is thatEB/gamestop is legendary for screwing people on tradeins.
if u live in canada the price is more than usa more the trade so duh at part one of problem, but a ds for a ds lite. think about it. a ds lite is way better. maybe when u heard that was for a ds for a ds, then the price would've been cheaper, and dude 200 for ds. the ds lite in canada cost less than that. if u brought it from ebay then dude, auctions they increase! i look at my money deals. but i just gave u another answer for the ds lite. go on ebay use ur parents or ur credit card number when signing up. then sell ur ds, ansd aauctions they go up quickly depending on how well the summary and the picture of the system is. polish or clean the inside of the ds and out. oh yeah dont start it off at a high price otherwiseyou screwed up(again). but if I were u i'd put in a game with it so u can gain moe money or get noticed more. so when u sell ur ds (i bet u have tha 40-60 dollers for the trade in, right?) u should be pretty close toi the price of a ds lite.
trading in games and systems is stupid from the beginning because they will always cheat you out of your money. just try selling it around town or on ebay
EB is ghey when is everyone gonna figure that out, the rip you off, theyre constantly changing their policies, their prices are too high...find a GOOD game store, EBs are just convienient cuz theyre everywhere, doesnt make them good
