Epic Mickey!

Epic Mickey is a wii-exclusive game that is coming out this fall. If you haven't seen previews for it, you should check it out. To me, it looks like a cross between Okami [with Mickey's paint brush], Mass Effect [with the morality system], and Paper Mario [with the art style]. Do you think the developers will reveal anything at E3?

It better be at E3. There hasn't been any new information on Epic Mickey for a long time, not even any new images. It would have to be at E3 if they're hoping for a September release.

The name 'Epic Mickey' makes the game sound stupid.

There is no way in hell that's the final cover art. Sorry, but no. Anyway, I'm interested in the game, but I'm not going to shell out $45 for a pre-order when we know so little about the game. I'll wait for some more hands-ons before making such a decision.

I don't know I wasn't a fan of Okami so this shall be a pass for me.

Heh yeah there should be some on this site actually. The game looks nothing like the concept art. Like they decided either it wasn't possible or was too mature to show the destruction of childhood dreams. Was really looking forward to see where they would go, but they back out.. now I might just do the same.

Should be good,i remember playing some mickey game on either the snes or genesis i cant quite remember,not that i can compared some vague memorys from a 15+ year old game but just saying mickey has lots of potential within the disney world to create a vivid expansive interesting experiance.blacktorn

right now, im mainly interested in SMG2, Metroid other M, and Zelda WII, for the WII. Just dont seem to care about other games on the wiitoo much especially when the game is based on disney stuff (not that i hate disney, i likesome of theirmovies but a disney game?). cant wait for SMG2 on sunday!!! oh and E3 too!

I still remember seeing the game for the first time and thinkings...What? What was the point of the awesome Concept art?

The art style reminds me of Jersey Devil for the Playstation. I loved that game.

In Epic Mickey, you can choose to be a good Mickey or a bad Mickey and those choices are reflected in Mickey's appearance on screen.

am i the only one who thinks the bad mickey's face icon (next to his health meter) makes him look like a freaking psycho?

also, it reminds me of all the drama they made to release the picture of mickey... who doesn't look different at all.

Wow, I hadn't seen that concept art before and it looks amazing! Hopefully Disney could incorporate those ideas into later parts of the game. Granted, it will look different due to the cartoon-style graphics.
