Does the Wii have a thing to plug a ethernet cord in it or do you need to buy something for it?

It doesn't have an ethernet port, but you can buy a LAN adapter for $30. It's much better than wireless one.

Gamestop carries a wii lan adapter it plugs into the wii then you plug your ethernet cable into it then to the back of your router or internet hookup whatever you have. we have one of these and they work great if you don't have a wireless router which is better yet.

No not really. You get ease of use with no cords with almost no hampering connection.

I've tried using the Nintendo WiFi Adapter, but it was just buggy. Even with its hampering connection, its much better to get the LAN adapter because you won't get any "interference" issues. It's direct and to-the-point.

I meant a good wireless router not the stupid dongle nintendo makes.
