i dont have my pearl game with me cuz i gave it to a freind to get darkrai at toys r us :), but a good place for defence is the iron island or something that you get to on the ship, a good place for sp. attack is the old chatoe (if i spelled that right), and an ok spot for speed is in the rich guys garden behind his mansion with pikachu's and staravie's (if i spelled THAT right)

i have pokemon diamond and its great,i have beaten all the gym leaders,but the league is hard to beat man.
go to Serebii.net They have a section for EV training including a list of what pokemon give the best EVs for a statSquire_Ramza
that works, but it doesn't tell you the best places to find those pokemon, preferably with those pokemon only.
I haven't played Diamond for a while, but a few good spots include: Super Rod fishing for Gyarados on the second island place (don't remember any names) = 2 ATK EV; A cave on the route south of the city with the fighting gym has only Geodude and Hippopotas, both of which are 1 def EV (without bonuses). Sp ATK = anywhere you can find Oddish, Sp DEF = surfing to find Tentacool. For speed, I find that Starly's are fairly easy; and finally, HP from wild Bidoofs.
