I thought I was going to be a DS owner. Sadly..... NO STORES HAVE ANYLEFT. Ive checked every GameStop, GameCrazy, Target, Walmart, BestBuy,Toy R Us, and they are ALL sold out. Ive even checked Gamestop.com.......THEY ARE ALL BACKORDERED. Ive checked bestbuy.com ........BACKORDERED. circutcity.com.................BACKORDERED. toysrus.com....................ONLY HAS THE ORIGINAL DS. ebay.com.........................I CAN ONLY FIND BUNDLES, IN WHICH I DONT WANT. I dont want to wait untill stores get their stock. :(

Every DS can't be gone if you just said you found one at Toys R Us. Just get the original. It's basically the same thing except it's bigger than the DS lite. With big-time electronics, it's pretty near impossible to get them so soon after the holiday season.
Yeah, getting a game system after the holidays is a big mistake. I remember when I got my 360 towards the end of january and the only store that had any was Toys R Us and Gamestop only had the Halo 3 edition 360s. And thatw as almosta month after Christmas. Good luck to you, I have seen DSs in stores here but I live in ND.

honestly the Lite is better, of course he wants the newer version of the ds. as for the eBay thing I would think people should just be selling them. You can probobly even get a new one for about the same price as the stores if you need to.
If you REALLY want the DS lite, then I suggest, calling a store, asking when the next shipment comes in, and asking if you could reserve a DS. It's not really the best idea to try to get a game system so soon after Christmas. I got lucky when looking for my DS and my Wii. I managed to be in the right place at the right time.
yea its hard to get a wii or ds now i mean i owrk at kmart and best i could do was my manger would hold one for me as soon as the next shipment came in toh i got luckey and got the last one at target where i live tho it was the guitar hero bundle buts its kewl i love guitarhero plus you can always get game skins if you dont like it.

I sold my DS phat this christmas to get a DS Lite for my brother (he still plays gameboy advance games), me myself am eagerly awaiting the DSi to come out in the US. . .

I kinda dont want the DSI. It has nice features. But most of the games that I want to play is for the GBA. Theres no GBA playing on the DSI. :(
Everybody was sold out except Blockbuster here yesterday when I picked up my onxy ds lite. A local hollywood video has one silver one is stock as well. You might want to check out your local movie/video game rental stores.

Just wait until the DSi comes out cause anyways you are going to wait until the store re-stock the DSlite Nanu-
First of all, all of the stores will be fully stocked by February. Secondly the DSi is 180$ which is 50$ more than a normal DS. The DSi is just a gimmicky mistake Nintendo has made by making a console more like there lagging competitor's. Last of all, if you are in a hurry you could order one from Amazon, a new one.
