everybody votes and virtual console should unite!

considering the fact that everybody votes channel IMO is crap
and the VC lacks many games people are requesting

 they should put up about 10 games every week to be voted for and by the end of the week the highest 2 or 3 games should be released on the VC

it sounds ok in theory, but nintendo doesn't wanna put all the most popular games on the VC at once, that's bad business

and personally, i don't want to spend 30 dollars a week getting every must have title of the past 20 years. 

oh, and i kinda like the nonsensical stuff that appears on voting channel, i check it every morning now as part of my normal routine

Whoever said that it's a good theory, but bad application and business, is correct.  They'd shoot themselves in the foot releasing all "must have" titles at the same time.  Why?  Well, what in the world would they be able to funnel out in the future?

True, but i never stated that all of the games to be voted for are must haves, honestly they could put up any games really and they highest voted would be released, im not expecting them to put out every gem they have on this list

Actually what i think they should do is make a part of EVC just for VC games. Then Let everyone make their own choice (as in the people put what game they want, not choose from a list) this way there would be a ton of games to choose from. From that list which would compile all the votes in the previous month they could make the top 10-20 voted games and you could choose out of those. After that they would end up with the top 5 games. Then they would go out and try and get them.

Now the nice thing about this is that out of those 5 games they may only get 3 because some companies may not want to re-realease their game. Also with this way there could be some games that were never HUGE sellers, but really great games (if enough people voted). This would allow people to get some more popular and really wanted titles , but during the poll they would get mabye less popular and some really popular games.

The whole voting stage would last ruffly two months. The first vote would last a whole month and then the other two votes would last two weeks each. So you have about two months of either popular or non popular (that you didn't ever vote for) before the ones that everyone voted for would even be announced.

Plus since it would be only 3-5 games it really wouldn't be a large number of extremely popular games being released all at once. Oh and plus the games never leave the VC so if you don't have the money... save.

 well imo alot of the games comming out right now are crap(actually ive never played alot of them) so im not one to judge) but all in all i think it would be fun to vote every week and then see if you choice came true :) regardless of whether the games are good or garbage
