I was wondering if anyone has heard of an Excite Truck 2 in the works, I played the Originally once over at my friends house and I was a bit sad that it only had 2 player. But if they were going to make a 2nd that be cool if they included 4 player and online into it.
The developer who made the first Excite Truck recently announced that they are working on some kind of secret project. There is speculation that it's Excite Truck 2, but nothing is confirmed at this time.
I liked the game, HATED the vs. mode. It was easier to win the vs. mode by earning "drift" stars, except you're not actually drifting, you're just drunkenly swerving all over the road.
i actually loved the game, cept for few annoyances here and there, such as not enough map and the mode where u crush each other was very poorly done, and when u play vs. with your friends, there were no cpu players and so on. but the core gameplay in my opinion was excellent. it definitely deserves a sequel with online play, with fix on everything i said above, more opponents in a single race, and better bgms (thank god the first one supported custom songs), more maps (solid ones too), lots of collectibles and unlockables, more modes, and it would be better than mario kart.
If it's secret, I suspect it'll be something other than an Excite Truck game. I just don't see the point in keeping the sequel a secret.Raiko101
I agree. Due to the secrecy and the development time (remember, Excite Truck was released over 2 years ago), I'm thinking that they are making something bigger. A new F-Zero perhaps? We'll find out soon, that's for sure. :P

Grr so many secretive secrets they hold. : \
secrets are good... Im tired of hearing about a game and then waiting forever for it to come out (remember SSBB)... they did a good job with Wario Land Shake It IMO and I hope they follow that pattern of a short time between announcement and release.
