It seems that the developers want to return to Nintendo. The game they are making is not a VC/Wiiware game but a Wii game.

Thats good News, Hope it is really good and alot better then Lair, but with it being on a Nintendo Console Nintendo will probably help them more then Sony helped them.

Good to hear. Clearly they've learned their lesson. :P Maybe they can actually show what the Wii can do, unlike a lot of other third party developers.

Oh, so NOW they're back. Whatever happened to "Wii is a graphically inferior console" and "We only work with systems that have great hardware"? It took a flop game and dismal PS3 sales for them to change their minds. Pfft.

Rouge Squadron 4 perhaps? new IP? Maybe they are working on the starfox Wii game (Doubtful)?

Whatever it is, i hope they do a good job in both things -- graphics and controls. I know they are more than capable of delivering on the graphics front.

I actually don't want another Rogue Squadron game, or anything to do with flying (unless Nintendo lets them develop the next Starfox). I want something else from Factor 5.

Finally, A 3rd party dev that will push the Wii hardware. I'm really excited about this, the Rogue Squadran games were great.

sweet, factor 5 is one of the top developers who like to push systems to the limit with graphicso itsnice to see the next project is for the wii.

yay probs because of rubbish sales of ps3 and great sales of wii, but still they wanted to try out the power of the new TEV for a while
since they are one of the few who are great with that shader unit

why? if factor 5 can't make a wii game look awesome nobody can, they make rogue squadron , those games were crazily great graphics for their time (they were like the crysis of their day)

oooo. these are the guys who said the graphics that devs were putting out on wii are rubbish...its far more capable than that (said it ages ago). they also mentioned something about insane fillrates n stuff. well now there going to have to put their money where their mouth is and show everyone how its done.

they produced some amazing looking games on the GC last gen though so if anyone can do it, they can. lets just hope they also make an enjoyable game.

LMAO oh and don't forget they also said that the 6 axis controller is better then the wii's motion sensing. im not even sure if i want them to come back. but as it isn't up to me i cant say anything.

Because another Rogue Squadron game/Star Fox gamewould be awesome. I was concurring about the great news if Star Fox/Rogue Squadron were coming to the Wii. I don't care about the graphics as much.

Exactly what I was thinking. They knew how to use the Cube to its max, so I'm sure they can make some very impressive games (visually and gameplay wise) on the Wii. Very good news if they return :)
