Fantastic 4 Rise of Silver Surfer question--- Please help!!!

Hi. I have a question about the Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer game for the Wii (duh). I tried posting on that board but it seems pretty dead.

Anyway, I was wondering how do you escape the laser pit when you are chasing the Skrull dude? There are four beams with purple-like lasers and you are bombarded by enemies. This is driving me nuts. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

There is a cinematic that plays first. The skrull leader says something like "So you like my lasers rubber man.." then runs off like a little pansy. The door is locked and you have to get out of the room. There is a five minute countdown.Can't figure out how the hell to do it though.

Ibought the game for my nephew, actually. He comes to my house and plays with the Wii. I understand what you mean, with the terrible reviews and everything.

It is disappointing for me, buthe reallyseems to enjoy it and I paid virtually nothing for it so...

You probably won't find one either. I hear the gamemakers witch hunt any walkthroughs or guides because they want you to pay $16.99 for the official game guide.

There must be someone who knows. I'm sure someone beat this game.

Bought it cheap because there are so very few co-operative Wii games available, got it to keep us going while we wait for Lego Batman.

We're stuck in the same area - there are no guides on gamefaqs, nor anywhere else I've searched. Would greatly appreciate any assistance getting past this section, rather than "why did you buy" posts.

Appreciate the response hellhund, have done M:UA, LSW, LIJ already even other bad movie tie-ins like Eragon. Next to all the versus games, co-op is pretty rare these days.DeathConvoy

Death jr. on the wii has really fun co-op, along with trauma center: new blood.

In response to the initial post, I've figured out how to get past the 5-min countdown section.

You really have to be quick about killing the enemies - there is a set number. As soon as they're all dead, you don't get a message or anything, and time still counts down - but the door ahead is now open. I can't see how its possible single player - the AI for the other team members is just awful - do it with a friend. I hope that helps someone..

September 28 'til October 12 - good math there mate. No ingame suggestions, no guides online (I dare you, try and find even a basic one thats not Brady/Prima) and no helpful people responding to forum posts (including you) - not to mention working full time, spending time with the family and moving house - and no, I wasn't playing the game every second of my life outside of that either. Given the serious lack of information on this game online, you're still being an ass?

It's no wonder why no-one ever takes the effort to to help anyone any more - theres always some smart ass dick that thinks he's gods gift that has to show the world how meaningless his life is without putting someone down.
