I was thinking since this game sucks and looks like crap, but is fun based on it's controls from what I've heard, is it worth the 20 dollars? I've bought much worse games for 20 bucks and enjoyed them because of their budget price (WWE: Crush Hour, Star Fox Assault, Billy Hatcher).
Its not worth 10 bucks if ya ask me(and i'm a farcry fan). I bought it 1st day and judging by the phony I screenshots my anticipation to play it rose to untouched lengths. But when i popped it my ol' wii the graphics literally looked 10 times worst and the controls weren't as precise and comfortable as call of duty. PLEASE DO NOT BUY. Its the equivalent of a brownie spinning in a wii's disk tray!
I got it when it dropped to 20$ a few days ago. I'm committed to playing it through, and I'm actually enjoying it. I really don't care if the graphics aren't top notch. I enjoy the controls, although at times they can be a little unresponsive. Mostly when trying to zoom or do a melee attack in the middle of a firefight. Only other gripe would be vehicle "combat". Which is more like ... avoid getting your vehicle flipped while you're trying to shoot other vehicles.

Anyway, if you can get over the graphics not being very great, and the controls at times being slightly frustrating, I'd say its worth the 20$. I mean, if you go in with low expectations like I did, you might actually be pleasantly surprised. I bought it entirely with the intent of doing the two for one trade deal they have going on. Consider my surprise when I realized I'd already invested seven hours into the game.
Well, like I said I ultimately purchased it with the intent of up-trading. Essentially getting paid to play it while I wait for Super Paper Mario to come out. Considering I want to support M rated games on the Wii, I thought it was a good purchase decision, and now I like it too. It might be worth it on the same up-trading grounds, at least until april 15th when that deal ends. -SV
Still on the fence about it guys, but thanks for the advice, I'm pretty sure I won't get it, but I will later on when I'm out of things to play, I hated the xbox version of farcry, the load times were outta this world (slow). I saw a couple of other good 20 dollar games yesterday, mostly for ds, that I think I'll get.
