Favorite Mario Kart Characters?

It does't necessarily matter which Mario Kart game, but which characters are your favorites to play as?

My favorite character is Toad, so I naturally play as him the most. He is probably the fastest racer, and my only real qualm is that he generally gets the worst items - Mushrooms and Green Shells. I feel that my tendancy to be cautious with handling corners helps balance things out a bit when I play as him, and I also like his small karts.

I also find myself playing as Bowser more recently. I feel that his absolute power and strength on the course makes playing as him a totally different experience than playing as Toad. For one thing, mowing down other players and having access to some of the strongest items on the course - 3 Red Shells, Bullet Bills, Blue Shells - makes him a force no matter how far behind he is in a race. His speed is horrible, and he accelerates slowly, but on levels with a lot of turns and rough terrain - especially with narrow, closed-in areas - he almost always reigns supreme.

And I often play as Mario, and sometimes Luigi, which are pretty different too. Mario isn't as fast as Toad or as strong as Bowser, but he gets decent items and can handle most situations. Luigi, on the other hand, accelerates pretty fast and handles turns well, despite not having a lot of strength or speed!

What about you?

Oops...courses too...well I usually tend to like courses with lots of variety. Cheep Cheep Beach is one of my major favorites, and I like Delfino Plaza Wario Stadium. The ones with the cars on the road are always fun because you have obstacles to take into account, and ones with wide, open tracks are nice, I would assume they are very enjoyable on MKW. Luigi's Mansion, DK Pass and some of the Bowser's Castles also remain in my memories.

I'm not too big on short races, or ones that rely mostly on speed, such as the Hi-Speed Course (?) and Baby Park. I suck at Sky Garden and the Desert tracks.

Am I the only one who uses Rosalina? I'm comfortable enough with my masculinity that I can use a female without shame. She's a heavyweight with mid-weight stats, which can be surprisingly helpful. Beyond her, I like Funky and Koopa Troopa.

i use her and my mii the most...

well, right now i use mario and his F-1 like car, the sprinter! :D

hes fast and awesome...

but when i get dry bowser im definitely gonna use him the most :S
