Favorite SNES Platformer

A few things about my pole

Thier wasn't room for all3 DKC games, so i put down the most popular one.

PLEASE don't post super metriod on this thread for "other" option. It has alot of Adventure / Shooting elements, and really a difrent sort of game then the ones included in this poll. Super Metriod is amazing, but this thread is for games that are more about platforming.

Of course not. I may be oblivious (hence missing the post) but I'm not dumb (which I would be had I posted that having read his message. Also, I probably would have said Metroid anwyay, IT'S THAT GOOD!

Well it's a little late for that. Who is he to decide what game can or cannot be mentioned? Does he think he's the king of the forums or something? Well I've got news for him, there's and insurgence in Forumia, and this self proclaimed king is about to be dethroned! Viva la revolution!

I had a lot of fun playing Cool Spot (7-up's attempt to cash in on the popularity of videogames, but actually a really fun game) but it's not my favorite. I'd say that my favorite platformer was either Super Mario World or Donkey Kong Country 2.

...wait, can I choose Super Mario All Stars? That's 4 games in 1. I'd go with that if it's allowed.

Then I vote Super Castlevania 4 (spelled right this time!).

Also, if Super Metroid doesn't count, I don't think the Megaman X games count either, much as I love them.

I don't think you get it.

Yes, they are not as great as the originals, but that doesn't mean that the games aren't there. And my point was that nothing beats the classics. I prefer Super Mario Bros 1 and 3 over Super Mario World, and that's why it was my "favorite".

I don't think you get it.
