Definitely the Metroid Prime Trilogy.

My all-time favorite Wii game is The Legend Of Zelda Twilight Princess, but if you're getting something for Christmas, I recommend Mario Kart if you have online. Otherwise, get TP (Twilight Princess).

I'm going to say Rune Factory Frontier as my favourite, but I second the Mario Kart Wii suggestion.
