Fierce Deity Link should have appeared in Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

I think he could have been the Super Smash attack for Toon Link (since Link in Majora's Mask was a kid after all) or just as a separate character itself.

He was awesome, and it's sad they overlooked him.

Why do you think of this?

He could have been Toon Link Super Smash transformation where you get to control him and such instead of that one move he has.

Or he could be a costume for link.

I would have enjoyed him simply as a super secret unlockable costume for Link.

But yeah, a final smash would have been cool as well.

He would have been cool as a final smash, but separately no i wouldn't want him there, I mean do we really need another version of link? Regular link is my favorite video game character ever but having multiple versions of the same character kinda waters down that characters presence IMO. They should focus on other nintendo series that didn't even get character representation before they add multiple versions of the same character. And toon link turning into Fierce Deity Link wouldn't really make sense.

I agree that FD Link would make a good Final Smash (and I've barely played Majora's Mask :lol:!), but not for Toon Link. The irony in your statement is that, assuming that one believes in the Split Timeline, Toon Link and Young Link could not be more seperate versions of Link. Toon Link is in the adult timeline. Young Link is in the child timeline.

FD Link could work for Link, though. It would act exactly like Triforce Slash. This would kill two birds with one stone, since Triforce Slash doesn't even exist in the Legend of Zelda series. The only problem I see with FD Link is that it might make Link's character represent Majora's Mask too much. No single game should be focused on in terms of representation, and Majora's Mask is somewhat of a side-story.

Yeah that would of been nice to see him again, either as Link's Final Smashmove (might help make a good excuse to bring back Young Link) or atleast best as Assist Trophy character.

I wanted him and the armors from TP as costumes. Really though I wanted young Link a la' Majoras Mask, that way he coulve been Goron, Zora, Deku, and Fierce Deity for Final Smash. The system wouldve worked the same as the pokemon trainer.

Absolutely. Majora's Mask is my favorite game of all time so I was praying for FD Link to at least be an alt color. I guess the "shadow" Link is kind of close but still, FD Link would have been better.

Unfortunately SSMB went with the newer Zelda games at the time being tp and ww and when the new super smash game comes it it will most likely feature SS and possibly some TP still. MM has missed the boat it seems.

that and they should've used kid link instead of toon link and made so he could transform into a goron,deku,or the zora also that would have been really coolweto77

It could work. he should have replaced Toon Link. It could work. Fierce Deity Link could be one of the slow, heavy characters. B to unleash sword beams, among other attacks. It could work well, and he wouldn't be a clone character.

I don't know how I feel about him being in the game, but it would have been cool to see one of Link's color schemes match Feirce Deity's.

After playing raging blast 2 I wish they had made like a "enhanced" or "godly", "uber" whatever you wana call them roster. You could have the option to either allow these characters to mingle with the other ones or stay seperate in your brawls and have Fierce diety, and other powerful characters off the top of my head super sonic, metal mario, mewtwo, and whoever else. For SnG it would be fun to use and slaughter with these characters or give a begginer the advantage (much like the handicap system) or just duke it out with some BA dudes.

Not sure if talking about texture hacking is against Gamespot's ToU, but I think it's pretty easy to do if you care enough.
