Yes, it is. It's coming out next year in north america, and i think it was in december this year for japan. I plan to get this game when it comes out since I never played any ff games before.
IMO ff4 is the best in the serise, it was the first to have the active battle system, and have a really good story with emotion and lots of suprises , i cant wait for this one
I cant wait for this game to come out. It is one of the ones I am looking forward to getting the most, only game Im anticipating more is FFVII Crisis Core for PSP
I haven't played any of the early FF games except for FFIII for the DS. I started from VII and worked my way up. So I'm really looking forward to playing FFIV!
I just got the GBA remake last summer (summer 2006) but i really enjoyed it and it was an excelent Final fantasy. So im definitly getting it when it comes out... in europe:P

this is gonna be great! i hope all of the PS final fantasy lovers play this to see what a classic story is all about (if they havent already) that doesnt include a spikey haired schizo and a long haired malcontent. im still counting the days until VI...

I think its great that they are doing a remake for this game, clearly one of the best Final Fantasy games ever made. However, if they ever plan to remake FF6, i really hope it dosen't get the DS treatement. That is a game that deserves a full reimagining on a home console. By all means I'm not ripping of the DS remakes, I bought FF3 and loved it. I just feel that FF6 is an experience that should not be limited to that of handlhelds and be brought to the home consoles again like it was first intended.
