Well I wasn't a fan of the first FFTA game so I avoided this one assuming it was similar.

I played this game for a while, enjoyed it, but then I look at the walkthrough, realize how complicated it was, and stop playing.....

I beat the game, but I found it way too short; I also found this game easier than the last one due to changes in the law system and front/side/ack attack system.

I enjoyed the additions such as new jobs and classes, spells and the item system. I never played FFTA for story and I knew FFTA2 wouldn't have a strong story. It wasn't a masterpiece, but it was still a really fun game though I found.

I thought the story sucked but the gameplay was fun for a while. The job system was engaging enough and stuff like the bazaar was cool, but after a while I just got really tired of the battle system. There were plenty of long-term rewards, like new jobs, but not enough short term goals to really get me through the game.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Did all 400 missions (there's 100 uncounted ones) and then started a new file that I haven't really played for a while...

Lol, short? It took me 90+ hours just to finish teh game... and I didn't do all the quests.:P Yeah, I was hoping for a after game playrthrough. but alas that didn't happen. Some jobs I found to be rather useless, but could make for a greater challenge if you decided to play with only one job. It was fun, tad bit repetitive after awhile, but worth the time to play in my opinion. The story wasn't that bad, I actually enjoyed it in parts, and the ending was alright. Not the best game, no, but still worth a try.

I can't complete it. No matter how hard I try, I can't help but feel I've already put hundreds of hours into the game...Which I basically have done, considering I completed FFTA numerous times. Plus, there are waaay too many menus to have to surf through, IMO. It gets tedious after awhile. An interesting story would have been nice, too.

This one might not have been war of lions, but i enjoyed it more than the first FFTA. i enjoyed the unique characters you could recruit like Frimelda.

I felt the story to be a re-hash of FFTA, basically the same thing with parts cut out to get you into the fighting quicker. However I do enjoy the turn-based combat, so I'm having fun with it.

You probably veered off-track longer than I did. And in regards to everything you said, I agree.

The game isn't 90 long, the main game is about 20 hours; the rest of the missions are optional.

Yup, I was thinking about getting into hearing the battles were long like the gba one, that was my biggest gripe with the last one...so I avoided this one.
