Well its smart. A lot of people hear Final Fantasy in a title and immediately think "ZOMG BEST GAME EVR!!!"

I didn't like the artstyle at first, but now that I've seen it in motion, I actually kinda like it.

artst*le kinda reminds me of the Mother serie, simple yet effective and pretty.

Only thing that bothered me in the video was the missing lighting. Not sure if it's done on purpose or they have yet to put that in but the night city with no lights coming from the houses or lamp post and the moon not really shining was kinda lame.

Dang it, I didn't want to like this game, I wanted a new IP (or Seiken densetsu remake), but...

this actually looks pretty good.

Sure when I was 12 I had no problem with playing characters that were 12 years old but now 10 years later it feels stupid that 12 year olds can stop world destruction and go around takling to people like they were 30-40. I can't take these stories serious anymore.

The limit is around 16 years for me.

...Still not a remake of FFV and FFVI like i hoped..but it looks nice nonetheless.

Playing the Gaiden card again eh S-E? This game will probably succeed and S-E will change the name and turn into a series. Not that Im complaining, the game looks pretty good but c'mon S-E.

Finally someone sees that when a system doesn't have a texture filter, complextextures are your enemy.

The splotchy watercolor painting-esque sty'le creates very little to no pixelation at all and looks great.

I am definitely interested in this. I'll keep my eye on it.
