I am level 15. I have Ingus as a Warrior, Refia as a WhiteMage, and Arc as a BlackMage. Luneth already has 52 points as a Freelancer. What I am wondering is should I change his job to a RedMage, or leave him as a Freelancer? Which has everyone else done, and which would you reccomend? Or should I wait until he has all the points in the Freelancer class then go on to RedMage?

Thanks!

This doesn't sound at all like the original FFIII. Sorry, I would help, but I guess the DS version isn't like the SNES one.

It all comes down to preference. In my experience the red mage became useless as it can only learn low levels of magic. I'd leave it on freelancer until more useful jobs become available. Levelling your job level isn't necessary and to be honest is a waste of time for a job like a freelancer.

oh I didn't know that more jobs became available. What is the best setup to eventually have for each of your characters?

There are two levels of unlockable jobs as you make your way through the game. I ended up with

Luneth (ninja), Arc (black belt, upgraded monk), Refia (devout, upgraded white mage), Ingus (knight)

It's a great offensive team at the end if you equip them with 2 weapons each (one in each hand) and allows healing from Refia and Ingus.

We never saw Final Fantasy 3 her until the DS incarnation. Japan had all the Final Fantasies before us.

Final Fantasy 4 in Japan was translated and released here as FF2 on the SNES. Final Fantasy 6 was translated and released here as FF3 on the SNES.

FF3 on the DS is a 3-D translation of the original FF3 that had never been seen here before.
