Final Fantasy III buy or not?

Is it good should I get it? i heard it's repittitive and lack of save points is punishing.

Yes I've checked the reccomindation thread but it doesnt really get into detail. No offense Biospark its a great thread.

If you like any of the older FFs (1-6), this one should be just fine. As an added bonus, I've been seeingit lately at Gamestop stores for $20 new, so it's no a much better deal.

On a related note, in case you're just looking for some FF goodness on DS, FF12:RW will be on sale next week at Best Buy for $30

Get it for sure,great old school RPG.Just be warned,the save system,makes the game a little hard in some parts.jaspap

It is a great game if you like the old school FF Rpg's. The difficulty is amped up compared to any of the modern FF's. I beat it in 45 hours with maxed out job levels and my characters at level 60. The only annoyance is the final dungeon, which is very long with no save points.

The story is very generic and point to point, but what should we expect from a game that is from the 8-bit era? I don't remember Super Mario Bros. blowing me away with its' storyline.
