Final Fantasy IV Help

I used an Action Replay on Final Fantasy IV and now every time I face the dark elf instead if saying " Fools. Face the power" or something like that he just says fools. And he waves his arms crazily and kills one person in one shot ( even a lv 99).

Is that a glitch or what? Anyone help?

Well, looks like you forgot something. Did you perhaps forgot something in Troia? OK, you need to go back to Troia and find Edward. I believe he is in the castle. Once you talk to him, go back and confront the Dark Elf. He should kill your party, and then a cutscene occurs with Edward. That's all I'm gonna say...

Yeah what he said. And don't cheat unless you have beaten the game 100%...whats the point?

It is WAY too easy to cheat....challenge yourself...I mean, who cheats in an RPG that dosen't even have WiFi? Way to ruin a great game...

Personally, I think you got what you deserved.

Heh, don't think it's a glitch. Your 'action replay' might of screwed the game up.

I would laugh my a** off if it ruined your game. Serves you right, I hate people that cheat so bad, I wish their system would just blow up. Speaking of which, Nintendo should probably do that as a hack protection. :)

agreed. anyone who hacks Final Fantasy needs a good DS blowing up in their face.... fun way to have your party not killed is to cast reflect on as many ppl as possible... the elf starts nailing himself with his own spells. Cecil gets tired though and you see the cutscene anyways.

He's right....why do we care that he used an AR. Its his game and his money. If he chooses to play his game this way than it is his choice. He doesnt deserve to have his DS "blow up in his face" as one person on here put it, he deserves to be able to play any game that he purchased anyway that he wants.

It's not that we care they are using an Action Reply. It's just that someone should know the risks when altering a game by cheating so why come here looking for help / sympathy?
