[QUOTE="sonic_rusher"]What happened to FF: Chrystal Bearers???? is it a seperate game. AHHH COnfused.ThePlothole
Correct.
Ok so 2 different games. Cool. thnx
With all the new games coming to Wii Ware, I hope Nintendo will make an update so we can use external harddrives, USB sticks or SD cards as storagedevice (and that we can play games from them).technofranki
Or Nintendo could make an external Hardrive. OR make 10 GB SD cards which are availabe fopr under 100 dollars.

Wouldn't work. The SD 1.1 standard maxes out at 4GB (with few manufactures even producing v1.1 cards in this capacity). Past that, you're looking at the SD2.0 ("SDHC") standard, which the Wii does not support.
From the trailer it appears this is a game with sim building elements. A final fantasy game where you build a city ala sim city would be an interesting take on the franchise.
It seems like King Story or rather Project O is inspiring developers on the wii.

Well couldnt they update the Wii to support it. I am pretty sure they can. If they cant (DONT KNOW MUCH ON THE SUBJECT) than at least make a 4gb sd Card.

As Meimnobody inferred, it's a Hardware issue. SD2.0 slots need different support chips.
As for making a 4GB 1.1... well, it isn't entirely up to Nintendo. Even the so called "official" card isn't actually made by Nintendo, but rather SanDisk. Now SanDisk does make 4GB cards, but only of the SDHC variety.

Ive heard from many sources that they can use a 4 gb for Wii. SanDisk has to make it though.

4GB v1.1 Secure Digital cards do absolutely exist. They're just hard to come by, since most manufacturers have opted for the SDHC standard for this capacity.
Well, SanDisk doesn't have to make it. Any Secure Digital card from any manufacturer will work.

But its pretty obvious that if Nintendo wakes up and sees we need more memory they would most reasonably go to San Disk.
something is wrong with my profile it wont show new messages sometimes.sonic_rusher
That's been happening to me lately too. I think it's gamespot though.
SanDisk does tend to be the standard bearer and the wii manual itself just says up to 2 gb cards adding the disclaimer that certain rare 4gb cards work wouldn't do a lot of good since well those cards are quite rare. meimnobody
The fact that it is possib;e is why I think Nintendo and Sandisk should do some collabrative work to get this done for us> We are the customor and we want convenient ways for more memory. This is undoubtly the most convenient way even if it is not the easiest.

Sometimes when I go back to the main Wii boards page, it shows the topic I just posted in as read, but new messages were posted and mine was the latest one. And when you click on it it sometimes doesn't show your message.
Is that happening to anyone else?
