Final Fantasy VI?

They have made Final Fantasy III and IV for the DS so far. I'm thinking they will release a VI version for the DS sometime. It would be stupid not to in my opinion because it is arguably the best or second best game in the series.

Has anyone heard anything about Final Fantasy VI coming to the DS? I would love to go through that story again with voice acting and in 3D.

There has been no world on a FF VI remake, if they are going to remake their games in order then 5 would be next followed by six.

oh, and I would assume they're going to remake V before they remake VI...assuming there is a plan to remake VI.

Though I don't agree it's close to or is the best of the Final Fantasies, (as far as I'm concerned it's ranked 5th on my list) It would be nice to be able to play it in 3D, but personally I'm not holding my breath. Though, trying to stay on topic, I couldn't see them releasing VI without releasing V first and by that time don't you think the next gen. Nintendo handheld will be out? Judging from the distance that III and IV remakes where made, throw in V before VI you'll have another five-six years to wait and I see another handheld in the future by then. But hey, maybe with the success of IV they'll split there budget on two teams and have a team make the remake of V and another make VI and have them released around the same time. Who knows.

Also the DS is still getting high sales, I do not see the DS dying anytime soon so i think we can get a FF V and FF VI remake on the DS.

I hope we do because ff 6 is one of my favorite games that square soft ever created. I wonder if square enix will make ff 5 harder or more easier. That game can be hard if your not good at strategy.

After my PS2 died on me a few months ago, I busted out the SNES (still works after 17 years, no problems whatsoever) and popped in my old copy of FF III(VI); I have the version that glitches, btw. While playing through it, I suddenly thought, "Holy $**T, this game is still fun after all these years!" And I thought the exact same thing while playing FFIV on my DS.

Yeah, if everyone's math here is correct, all signs point to a V and VI remake on the DS. It's always fun to hang out with old friends.
