Launch Day = Wii in hands Thank God for pre-order!
It could've been worse you could of spent 2 months looking for one for someone you don't know/care about I say you had some luck their, nothing worse than spending all that time for something your not even getting rewarded for (not that I'm selfish) :D

Me too. I couldn't imagine not preordering the Wii.
I don't get it... is because people don't want to buy a bundle from Gamestop.com/EBGames.com? It seems like every week, they have them available (I usually click through around 10:15a-EST). At this moment, there are 3 bundles in stock and they're fair bundles (good games and accessories that you would buy anyway), unlike the release bundles that required you to by the $80 SD card (that cost $25 without the Wii sticker), a Game Informer magazine subscrition and 5 games (no choice).
Shipping and handling costs seem worth it based on the time, ordeals that people have been going through and considering the cost of gas, driving from one mall to Target to Walmart to another mall.
I've met her manager, he's a real cool guy. And I felt bad for his son. He wanted the new transformers game for his DS, his grandparents were going to take care of that. But nobody bothered to see if the game was even out yet. It doens't release until the movie does. So he didn't get anything for his birhtday. Everybody else that did get him something ordered it online, and the presents haven't come in yet. I can see the look on his face tonight when he gets the system.thething45
Sometimes I feel like that would give me a bigger smile than finding one for myself, you should feel good I say! :D

Ha, I showed up on launch day, without camping or a pre-order and walked out of best buy with a Wii.Â
