I heard recently that games of the Fire Emblem series are known to be pretty difficult. I was wondering if even the easiest difficulty would be too hard for me. I myself am not good with strategy games. I do enjoy RPGs but if they get too hard I lose interest. Anyway, I really want to like this game but could anyone tell me if they think the difficulty will deter me from finishing it.

I'm getting a coppy of the GC Fire Emblem on Tuesday so I don't know how difficult it is per say, but on the easiest setting I'm sure you could survive.

Edit: If all else fails, theres always cheats :D

Well, pervious Fire emblems are harder than this one. See with Fire Emblem, if someone dies, you don't get them back. You have to start that chapter all over again. But this Fire Emblem, has something new, called Battle Save. It means you can Save in the middle of battle. It actually really takes a lot of the challenge out of Fire Emblem, but it still will be hard.

I've only played the GBA FE and I didn't find it too hard. I'm not sure watch difficulty I was playing on as it was a few years ago.

Do you have to have battle save on? I really appreicated the difficulty on the GC Fire Emblem and want the same level of difficulty?

I play it on normal, and im one of those people who never lets anyone die, and believe me, on normal its not much of a challenge.

On easy mode you get bulk loads of bonus xp (path of radience) so your characters are gods basically.

So if you play normally and let a few die here and there, then you wont have any trouble. But if you try to keep everyone alive... be prepared to have done the whole level and have the boss critical strike one of your characters to a one shot ko and have to restart that map :P

So if you want to keep everyone alive on normal = semi difficulty
Just make it through to the end = easy

ps. 1 tip is to NOT level every character, then they all become too low. Pick approx 14 and use them, if you get another character you like, then drop 1 of the 14 and add in the new one. otherwise they will all be too weak.

if this gamespot glitches without spaces im gona be mad and im not editing it
