Fire Emblem Screens, Box Art

As announced late last year, Fire Emblem is coming to the DS. The tactical RPG's first entry in the franchise, Fire Emblem: Shadown Dragons and the Blade of Light, is getting a DS remake, complete with online features, enhanced graphics and dual screenage. Players will be able to duke it over the Nintendo's WiFi connection. No word whether this will see a Western release. The game's out August 7th for ¥4,800 (US$45) in Japan.

I love FE but the characters look horrible on those battle screens.I hope they do some more work on them.Gameplay will be awesome as always though.walkair

it doesnt look that bad, touched up a bit from the GBA FE games. reminds me sort of like how Advance Wars came out with DS and DoR...it looked similar to past installments but sharper and it was still fun.

Im sure if we can see the game in action it will look good as ever.

I'm going to have to kill someone if it doesn't come out here.

If fire emblem games weren't so plot driven, I'd have to import. Probably means it won't be arriving until either X-mas time or Q1 09

It's not that bad but i don't like the art.They look kinda blury,and i can't see their faces in detail,eyes,nose,ears...

wifi battles are already confirmned, though I doubt ill be using it much.....

graphically, It would have been better if it used FMVs like what A.S.H. did(im not saying that the visuals are bad though..)

I hope there is a way train you characters w/o having to go through story mode, ie: ruins in ff:ss

wifi battles will probably be broken = ppl get lots of swiftsoles etc and the battles last maybe 3 minutes :|

Agreed, the graphics are a bit low res, considering how rather exellent the GBA graphics were for the system (we all know the DS is much more powerfull). So I was expecting a bit more graphical shine on this one. But the gameplay wil probably be top notch as usual. :)
