Assuming all the characters from SSB melee were on the rev, which one are you going to be first. I think I will try marth first. P.S. My prediction: Most people are going to say Link (of course)

if there are any srprises like they throw in a new character like captain olimar without unlocking him I'll use them first
I would choose a character that wasn't in Melee to try him/her out. If Ridley is playable from start, he is my first choice easy. If they only have a starting roster from Melee, probably Roy. I would like to see if they tuned him up a bit to make him a little better to match Marth, since Roy is currently a complete loser in comparison.

Sheik is on my top 3 list, and she possibly kicks most butt (very possibly), but they may nerf her in the next game. As long as she isn't nerfed as bad as Ness, it should be aight. Plus, with the online capability, I would imagine that they could have a downloadable patch to balance the game a bit more.
mario of course. that doesn't mean i think he will be the best character. but i gotta start off with mario because he is nintendos biggest character.
I think I changed my mind actually. My first character in SSBM was Bowser, so Bowser will be my first on the revolution... Unless Ridley is a choice, of course :D
I will probably use Link fisrt. He's my favourite Nintendo character so I'm always looking forward to see how he moves. After Link I'll probably move over to Ridley and see how they've managed to make his areal moves... Then I'll start the single player-mode, beginning with Mario, and working through every character all the way to Meta Knight... Then I'll probably go online, with someone fast like Fox, Cpt. Falcon or wichever FE character they've decided to put in this time. The after that I'll probably do the event matches and unlock Tingle. Then I'll start an online match with all the Zelda characters against me (I will be playing as Tingle), and I'll toggle the only Virtual Boys-item option. But that's just me...
Mario, because he usuly is the overall balanced character, also he WAS my best character but until i play the revolution version, i will thenchooose me favourite, or i might even choose new charactes as it's best to check out new ones since for he other characters you would ave an idea onto how the moves are going to be (slightly).

becuae ppl don't want to see more pokemon added... they've got enough allready add more games or more to the games with few ppl, like metroid! or pikmin! or battalion wars / advance wars (heck the moves would be cool)

For example, *left/right + B* (on a GC pad, because I don't know how it will controll on the Rev) would make the character jump in a Neo Tank and start powering up and then shooting of a round. Of course, a Neo Tank would only shoot once, so after shooting, the character would jump out of the tank and the tank would dissapear. Think of it as Cpt. Falcon's "Falkuuuu-hhhh-nnn-PUNCH!".
