Some of the textures appear rather bland and generic from the screenshots. however the color palette is attractive. but looking at nice contrasting colors for character models while having more bland textures for other items/structures in the game wont really set this game out in the crowd of other wii titles as far as graphics are concerned. i never played the original but for it to be such a cult classic type game i'm sure gameplay will more then make the game worthwhile.

I think the graphics look awsome for early development graphics. I think Sega actually utilizing the Wii's graphics very well. I thought Sonic's graphics on the Wii looked great.

Nights looks like crap.. Seriously, I don't care much about graphics, but when new Wii games looks like / looks worse than early GC games, I can't help but being annoyed.
Sega doesnt make games with the best graphics anymore because its too expensive for other consoles, and the Wii just doesnt handle hi-res textures that everyone has been spoiled with on the other two consoles. But gameplay is where it's at.

Prob b/c beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and b/c some define beauty in diff ways. Some might think it has lots of vibrant colors and cool lookign landscapes and the atmosphere is dreamy looking and think for this type of game it looks great. others see that it is just bright colors that woudl only appeal to a 10 year old girl and the environment looks boring and uneventful and say its ugly. So, i see how people have diff. viewpoints on what they think looks good about it.

:P I have seriously no idea, dude. I think the reason why people "think it looks good" is because it's a Wii game.
Maybe b/c the majority of people on here are kids that are under age 16 and to them, it is a cool looking game. But I see how an adult coudl possibly see it as being ugly, as compared to Mario galaxy or a Halo type game.
