First Online Wii Game

What's the first Wii game that's going to be online? MiiSims or whatever?

Also, are we going to eventually get VC games that are, well, online? $5 for a NES game that doesn't even go online feels like a rip to me.

Pokemon Battle Revolution is the first online for the states. There is supposedly a game coming out the day before thats an MMO but I don't remember the name of it and there isnt any news on it so I doubt its going to happen. And no NES games were online so the VC will not sell any online NES games as they do not exist (unless some sort of online highscore board is added to some games). If $5 is a rip-off to you then don't buy them.lilsmurfaroonie

No, they can impliment online play in these old games. I've played Double Dragon 2 online via NES emus. No problem whatsoever. As far as $5 for these games, sure, I have the option to not buy it, but I'd like to buy it and it's ridiculous how they price them out.

Pokemon Battle Revolution comes out a week from today, that's online. Mario Strikers comes out July 31st, that's online. The Bigs comes out soon, that MIGHT be online, not sure. MySims is probably online, should be out relatively soon. Brawl should be out by year's end, that'll 99.999% likely be online. MP3: Corruption comes out August 20th, that MIIIIGHT be online.

And? I'm just stating my opinion on the VC games. There's a reason they haven't been selling. They're too much and they don't offer anything extra. The N64 games, however, I don't feel ripped. Super Mario 64 is much more fun on the Wii.

And? I'm just staying my opinion on the VC games. There's a reason they haven't been selling. They're too much and they don't offer anything extra. The N64 games, however, I don't feel ripped. Super Mario 64 is much more fun on the Wii.

Guys don't fight with him. If he's to cheap to spend $5 on games like Super Mario Bros. and Punch Out he shouldn't even own something Nintendo made.

Yeah, might wanna do a little research before thinking you know what you are talking about. The VC games are selling and selling well. And they are never going to release the VC games with online because they want to keep them as close to the original game as possible and since none of them ever went online, then you are not going to get online with the VC games. If you want to play online, go use your emulators you were talking about. But remember they are illegal and you do not support Nintendo or any other company by downloading the games for free.

As for online games, it depends on where you live. In the US, as people have said Pokemon Battle Revolution is going to be the first online game. But if you lived in Japan, Pokemon Battle Revolution has been out since launch and is online. As another person said, Mario Strikers Charged came out last month in Europe and was their first online game. The other thing you can do is google this information, which more people need to do instead of asking the same topics over and over.

NA is getting pokemon in 7 days i think, and thats the first online title for us.

Pokemon is the first online game and it's going to be released on June 25.

Super Mario Strikers Charged is also online and it's already released in Europe but in North America, it's on July 30.

As for the VC, the concept is to do nostalgia. Back in the days, NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis and Turbografx were not online. So be it. Also, I don't want them to be polluted with that kind of thing.
