he just asked us "what do you think about it?"... there is no "ok... and?" about it.
anyways, for my opinion. i totally agree. the ds has the best handheld fps' and the control scheme can rival the good ol' dual analog sticks. i haven't tried any shooters with the wii yet so i'm not sure how good those controls might be cos they seem pretty damn good. but ofcourse, mouse+keyboard is always gonna be no.1
I love the control scheme. I actually do better on the DS FPSs than the console ones. I will say the only drawback is my hands would cramp up after playing awhile even with the bigger DSlite stylus. Fortunately, I took care of that by using an even bigger 3rd party stylus.
I didn't like the controls for Metroid (haven't played CoD4) but then again I didn't give it much of a chance, I stopped playing it after about 5 minutes.
COD 4 on DS ? i don't think COD 4 is good on the DS it's only good on xbox 360 or PS3gameroz
but you haven't even tried one yet.
Has anyone here played Moon? It's a very good FPS game for the DS. The controls work quite well, and the graphics are stunning. They're almost at a Windows 2000 level, which seems to be pretty good.
Call of Duty 4 also played very nicely, I thought. Pesonally, I'd like to see more First-Person games for the DS in the future. I think they can only get better from here.
I was surprised how precise it is! The ds and Wii could have the best FPS' if someone would acctually make a decent one on the platform!

Well unfortunately a big part of FPS is having the biggest and best graphics these days so they will always focus on the more powerful consoles.
FPS games area natural fit for the DS, although holding the system is a little awkward when you've got the stylus in one hand and you're trying to hold the DS, strafe, and fire with the other.
The Ds should have more shooters. Nintendo has built a home console and handheld that are perfect for FPS it just seems no dev. want to utilize the potential of them.

i found that oddly somehow by using the touch screen helped me get better at first person shooters on the 360 which i still really dont care for because i hate the controls. but i really like using the touch screen as a camera :)
It's a nice idea in theory, but I personally found the controls of Metroid Prime Hunters agonizingly awkward and uncomfortable. I wouldn't want to play another DS FPS after that. It was quite painful with all the hand-cramps and quite annoying having to constantly re-adjust my grip.
