The graphics look decent, but what I really care about is the gameplay. Hopefully it's drastically different than previous Sonic games.
not bad graphics, im just worried about the controls.. i hated the secret rings. i hope its more like adventure 2Sword-DemonIt's not self-progressing, if that's what you're asking. You control your movement in all four directions rather than just your speed and left/right movement.

I actually liked the controsl in Secret Rings more than having to move my guy forward. The on-rails type of movement in Secret Rings made the whole game feel a lot faster. Backing up sucked sometimes though, and the enemies sometimes didn't pop up fast enough to keep up with your speed, but on-rails was more fun than self-movement imo.
They look incredible! I didn't expect this at all. It's not as good as Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy, but it sure does come close!
I'm having serious doubts about Werewolf Sonic not being up to par. The whole game looks like a lot of fun.

Fortunately they're also fixing those problems in Sonic and the Black Knight, the sequel to Secret Rings. Nunchuk controlled Sonic is probably the better choice.
Doesn't look that great.toadster101
Yeah the texture fiiltering is non existent, still Dimps has a large role in the Wii version and I have a lot more faith in them than I do Sonic Team.
Yikes, very few people think the graphics are good. I thought they were quite nice...Dark_Link142
I think the shots look quite nice.
looks very very similiar to SA1/2 graphically. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a slight upgrade for the back grounds, but other than that...this is it.
as someone else mentioned, 480i/p look terrible still.
I can't believe how many people think it looks bad...
To me its one of the best third party showings in terms of visuals ... :|

I think it looks good for a 3rd party game, especially the character models. But the back grounds is what I meant looked like DC games. I'm sure it'll look good in motion.
looks like PS2 standard... obviously because it's a PS2 port. The graphics are worse than Secret Rings, but because of the Werhog I'll skip it anyway and get Sonic Black Knight next year, instead.MangaPictureThis is what Sonic Heroes looked like on PS2:
You've got to be kidding me. This is Sonic Adventure 1:looks very very similiar to SA1/2 graphically. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a slight upgrade for the back grounds, but other than that...this is it.

that's what I remember Sonic Adventure looking like. I have never seen that jaggy looking game you had shown lmao. You sure that's not an early version or something from Saturn? That looks like something from the N64/PS1 era

well I must've been on acid when I first played it because I have never seen that Sonic character. That is terrible looking, and I remember the "semi" smoothness from the game I played like in the link I provided. You can't tell me those are the same "finished" games.
On a side note...maybe they are. I never finished the game because I sold my DC. It's possible it was a crappy cutscene...but I dought it.

That's not a cutscene, it's and in-game shot of the finished game. At the end of the Sky Chase, Act 2.[QUOTE="danger_ranger95"]No, that's Sonic Adventure 1. I still have to say the back grounds look similiar (when it comes to squareness, clearity, and detail) though. Yes, they are better looking, but it doesn't seem to be by much
