what's wrong with a game that's easy to beat, but hard to master. you can beat almost any game easy but mastering it is where the challenge comes in.

renting (believe it or not) seems like more of a waste of money/time then actually buying the game...maybe it's just me. I respect your opinion, but if a game has good reviews and seems like a game I'll like, I just go out and buy it.

I disagree. If the game is really that short, I'd much rather spend $5 to rent it than $50 to buy it. I highly doubt whatever you do after the credits roll is worth $45. If you really want to buy a game that is that short (cough..Wario Ware ...cough) at least wait until its $20. That is unless you don't mind wasting your money.

warioware is a wonderful game, very fun and funny for multiplayer purposes, structured and not.

Sonic is a game that will last me more than a month due to all the unlockables and the decent Party Mode, so it was worth buying at 45 dollars at launch. I have my doubts about doing the GameFly subscription at $23.45 (after state tax) a month, knowing that I would not be able to take my time playing through the game. Video game rental fees have gone up more much more than movies, probably since games are more than twice as expensive.

I also want to add that there is nothing wrong with buying the game if you end up liking the game even though it may be short, it will help support the Sonic Team in the creation of their next game and show that they could build off of SatSR.

After playing a good chunk of Sonic I can without a doubt say that any person who enjoyed any sort of Sonic game should buy this, don't even waste your money by renting it. If you didn't care for Sonic games even in 2D don't bother. For those who are in between I would then recommend a rent.

Why does everyone like that game so much? It's horrible.

Sonic is a game that will last me more than a month due to all the unlockables and the decent Party Mode, so it was worth buying at 45 dollars at launch. I have my doubts about doing the GameFly subscription at $23.45 (after state tax) a month, knowing that I would not be able to take my time playing through the game. .

Why can't you take your time playing through the game? You can keep them as long as you want... I just got Gamefly and I love it... I have two games at a time, and when I'm finished with one I can send it in and start playing the other while I wait for the next one. I guess if you don't rent games often it's not worth it, but at $7-$10 a game rental at most places (and then late fees... even blockbuster will charge your credit card after a certain time until you bring it back) compared with having unlimited time with any two games at a time for just over $20 monthly is a good deal to me.

i know this...but i dont want to repeat the same 7 stages doing different miscellaneous things...this is just like sonic heroes, sonic adventure 2, and most 3d sonic games (all games which i felt a great disdain for...except chao world in SA2:))

i agree its always better to buy, but in this case...not really... much of the game is obtainable really quickly and i dont feel i need to see his new ring powers or unlock the characters for party mode in my honest opinion...i would actually score it lower than GS's score just because of how it disappointing it was... i felt like i had little control over sonic....MUST HE ALWAYS MOVE FOWARD!!?!?! the new ring system is kind of wierd (lose 20 rings every time you get hit), but i just dealt with it not trying to bash the game...just stating my opinion and giving advice to those who are on the fence about this game PS. the music was really really...bad :(

Sonic is such a bad, ... BAD game... its the worst game i have played in the last 5 years. its like a slightly interactive rollarcoaster ride, but the gimmic is that you can move left and right and jump. Sooooo bad... stay away.

Just rented it tonite...Horrible...In my opinion of course...just doesn't "grab" me...it seems too gimmicky. As a matter of fact, except for TwilightPrincess (which is the ONLY Wii game i bought) ALL of the games for Wii are just TOO damn gimmicky.

sonic=Tony the tiger

THEIR GGRRRRREAT

but only after getting sonic his powerups, before that he controls like a tank

But i bought Sonic because i was happy that the "Sonic Team " made this game for the wii, and not some port from the PS2, so i gave them my money. I hate seeing "coming to the Ps2/PSP/Wii." I can't wait till the ps2 is gone so maybe they will make more game using the wii power, a little better. No more Hand-me down ports, I mean god of war1&2 look better than that tiger woods port

If you are thinking about buying sonic for the wii, then  stop. It sucks. all the reviews have been ridiculously easy on it
