i know this is the DS board but the GBA board no long exsists, so i though this is the best place to post this

i jsut got out of the desert with the oasis, and i went back to the valt to get the veus djin, i fed the dog the bone, and used reveal near the grave stones, the whole does not apear, so i cant go under ground, then i rang the bell, and tried reveal again near the grave stone circle, but still nothing. whats going on, is my game glitched?

im playing this on the DS is it makes a difference.

Playing GBA games on the DS does not make a difference other than the inability for multiplayer capabilities (or complete lack thereof). The DS has the GBA game engine built into its design. I want to say there are rare exceptions for very unique games however that would be isolated to that one single game. If I recall, I didnt have any problems playing Golden Sun on the DS. Unfortunately I do not recall the entire game in depth to be able to tell you if you are missing something or not so you might want to consult a game walkthrough to find out if you have indeed missed or overlooked something procluding you from being able to finish that portion of the game.

I remember that happening to me as well. Just be tenacious and try to find something that will trigger the hole appearing. I don't remember what I did, but I randomly returned to Vault one day after trying some time before that, and the hole was there. It's too bad, because I think that's Quartz there, am I correct? Very useful.

i believe its sap, it does damage and restores your HP and it is very useful, hm... so the hole is not triggered by reveal but by an actual event? thats weird...

That is what I assumed, since I went to Vault, it didn't work, left then returned, then it worked. That's all I can say about that, though.

I know this is an old posting but i ran into the same problem. however, after visiting Kalay, having a poke around and initiating the tour guides sequence, i returned to Vault and suddenly the hole was there when i used Reveal :-)
