We all know that the Wii has a very weak lineup in 2011. All everyone talks about in these forums how this year the Wii has Zelda and Kirby and thats about it. I think most of you are forgetting a quality multiplatform game released in November. Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7. I've been a huge fan of the lego series since it started. I know some of you are sick of it, but after Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 which in my opinion was the best lego game in the series it should be pretty good. Just a idea for anyone who are looking for some games to buy on the Wii during the drought where having of games in 2011. So I'm just wondering is anyone getting the new Lego Harry Potter? Or are you not a very big fan of Harry Potter or are you sick of lego games or weren't interested in them in the first place?

I've played a number of Lego games in the last few years like Batman and Indi Jones and Star Wars. I really like the Lego franchise and I like Harry Potter and those who liked the first Lego Harry Potter game that's great, but I feel I've had played enough of those games, maybe one day I'll get back on the bandwagon. But for now, I've had my fill.

I've never really been interested in the Lego games, and I haven't played any. Any multiplats I get for the remainder of this year will be on the 360.

All the LEGO games are the same: repetitive and boring child games. I'm sorry, but this is an honest and informed opinion: I bought 2 of them. Sold both of them.

I got all the Lego Star Wars games that were on GameCube and enjoyed them, but the only Lego game I've gotten this generation is Lego Batman (PS3). Minus the glitches and freezing, Lego Batman was pretty fun in co-op mode.

I did get to try a demo of Lego Harry Potter (PS3), but unfortunately...I got stuck on the 2nd level...I'm not dumb, it's just that (in the demo) they don't tell you what powers each character has, so I didn't know who had a spell I might've needed.:P

The next Lego game I'm keeping an eye on now is the Wii U/3DS exclusive Lego City Stories, which seems like "Lego Grand Theft Auto" to me, not just because the name is similar to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.

(Heck, Lego City Stories is also going to be open-world)

LEGO games are not worth it for me... they are repetitive and boring and don't make much sense when you haven't seen the film.

The Lego games are fun if you want to play a game with a younger child, but otherwise they are repetitive and shallow.

I really liked the first one on the gamecube and Indiana Jones was pretty good. But I feel as if I've had my fill of the franchise

I'm not really a fan of the LEGO games, but about the whole "Only good games are Kirby and Zelda" thing; These people really need to take a look around. The only people that say the Wii has no good games at all aren't even putting any effort at all into looking for decent games, and that's why games like No More Heroes or Zack & Wiki aren't getting the attention they deserve.

You didn't read my post correctly. I meant for games coming out in 2011 not all of the Wii's lifespan. The Wii has tons of good games, but this year it's extremely lacking.

Yes because this is the time in between generations. Developers stop making games for the Wii because the Wii U is arriving.

I agree with you. They may be made well, and achieve what they set out to do, but hey are not innovative enough to be true classics that I can tell.

Yeah, they know their target audience: small children.
