Hey Everyone, I Just Bought A Wii 2 Weeks Ago And I'm Interested In Trying Out Some FPS's On This System (Metroid Prime Trilogy/World At War)

And I Was Just Wondering If I Got The Wii Zapper Will It Be More Accurate Or Is It A Better Experiance Than Just Using The Remote And Nunchuck Normal Combo?

Thanx For Any Help.

You will get lots of opinions about the wii zapper, but the only way to know is to try it out for yourself. I like it but alot of people do not. :)

It's just a plastic thing, but your aiming gets better. But not much game support it. I rather play the FPS's without the Wii Zapper. But I liked the game that it comes with, Link's Crossbow Training. And it's just 30 bucks ( maybe lesser)

thanx for your input guys, i tried quantum of solace without the zapper and i found that the controls are very loose (like my aim was very shaky), i'm hoping that the zapper can help the overall 'feel' of the game.

Not every FPS automatically supports Zapper control. The trilogy does not for instance, but Cod WAW does. The Zapper takes away most buttons on the face of the Wii-mote without extorting you're wrist.

If you buy the wii zapper you should buy games like House of the dead and Resident Evil UC

thanx billiam350, i'm still new to this wii stuff and i appreciate your info. since mp trilogy does not support the zapper, i am guessing that the controls should be tighter than quantam of solace?

I've got Call of Duty: World at War and The Conduit. I've never tried the Wii Zapper, but the Wii Remote and Nunchuk work wonderfully for FPSs.

I haven't played Quantum of Solace, but if you set the controls on advanced in Metroid Prime Trilogy the controls should feel pretty much better than anything (except maybe the Conduit, but you have to fiddle with the controls a bunch).

The Wii Zapper hurts your arm actually. I got it at launch, used it in Medal of Honor: Heroes 2, and switched back a few days later. It's really not worth it at all in my opinion.

I'm not a fan of the zapper.

EDIT: They should have made it a pistol, separate from the Wiimote with it's own buttons and attachment for a nunchuck. As it stands, I can't stand not being able to reach some buttons. I realize that my idea would have cost more $$$, but I think that it would have been worth it.

The zapper is just a piece of plastic. Its pretty useless and I kind of wish I never bought it.

Yup. They're perfect for newcomers. As for the zapper, it'll get a tad uncomfortable after usage. I suggest getting used to the Wiimote setup for a while, and if no dice, use a zapper. But like others have said some games don't support the zapper. Hope this helps and enjoy your Wii.

You should get the Nintendo Zapper or the Nyko Perfect Shot.
