Fire Emblem DS is coming! Game looks great except I think the battle sprites don't look that great at all, could be better.

True that. At first I though long ago that the sprites are from a pre-release version. Now, that the game is going to be released in August, I doubt it'll change, but hey! It's Fire Emblem it'll be good.

Dang, I meant to say that I disliked that graphics style, reminded me of games like Shock Troopers 2 and the ilk. It's based on the first FE ever, right? I wonder if there will be extras, like character's from future installments or something of the like...

God I can't wait till it comes out. I love Fire Emblem! The sprites could be a little better but their not that bad.

The only reason I say the sprites aren't bad is because I'm playing FE6 right now, and this game looks a lot more polished off.

I hope it's similar to the first Fire Emblem we got in the US. I did not like the Sacred Stones and I did not like the ones on the consoles.

After this one releases, will there be any point in playing Fire Emblem 1-3? This DS remake is definitely based on the first one, and the third game was already a remake of the first on the Super Famicom, though I don't know if its added content covered the story in FE2, which picked up where FE1 left off. Furthermore, will this game even make it Stateside officially? It would be nice if it did...though would that mean that if Marth were to appear in another game with voice acting (say, a new Super Smash Bros.), he'd start speaking English this time?

What I learned about this remake is that it will be the first Fire Emblem game to use Nintendo WFC.

One of the most expected titles finally arriving to DS, that's a great new! The cartoons for the dialogues look pretty good, but the graphics for the battle campaign including animation can be improved. With titles like FE, E3 is warming up!

Oh dang I forgot about this game. Anyway it look good.:D However the sprites look a little ugly.:? But as long as the game is good, it won't matter much.

I definatly agree with the mentality that the sprites look like suck, but it's Fire Emblem and that it most likely will be awesome.

repeating it:

the sprites are good, specially if compared to how they looked on the GBA. but i miss the eyes >_>

and marth looks so kiddy on this image it made me laugh:

and another thing, his hair isnt right at all... so "rebel" LO

at leas for the marth i know

still awesome though, will let the ocidental players play the fire emblem they never had the chance to play.

what worries me is... when it'll be released here?
