For the friend code to work do u need to give the person ur friend code or does it send a request to the person? Let me kno cuz i'm confuse

You need to add theirs and you need to give the other person the friend code... Why? Because Nintendo thinks its safe like that.

Some Wii games (3rd party) do not require them. madden '08 does not use FCs. There are one or two others. For now.
