It's possible to get past that point without getting any help whatsoever. Although I didn't have too much trouble with that one, I did spend quite a bit of time (an hour or so) on the ice chandelier level because of a simple oversight on my part. Just take Wiki's advice from the very first level - look at everything... multiple times even. If anything happens or changes, look at everything again. Try things even if you don't think they'll work. Sometimes seeing what won't work helps you see what will.

That level was hard. I'd give you some tips, but I don't know how far you've gotten. I know I got stuck at the beggining because I didn't see the mirrors.
