Fruit on animal crossing....

This might have already been talked about or maybe everyone just "knows" the answer to this...but since I don't really "play" a lot of games and since I'm just newly hooked to animal crossing...I have NO idea the answer to this question.

SO...I see that people have their native fruits. What determines what native fruit you will have? And is there away to get different fruits other than visiting other peoples towns? (not that I don't want to visit other towns...just have NO CLUE what I'm doing with that)

Sorry if this is an obvious thing...again...I'm new at this stuff. :)

Thanks. I didn't know that. But now why would they have exotic fruit? I mean, there's only your native fruit available... unless they smuggled it over the border after taking a vacation...:shock:

The animals only seem to understand short simple comments and praise you for writing for writing such an awesome letter afterward. I sent messages like "How are you?", "You are cool!", and "We live in Goo Town." with my native fruit in them and got nearly all my fruits that way.ZumaJones07

I always type in "I HATE YOU SO MUCH THAT I AM SENDING YOU A (item)". That's what I do every single time I fish up a boot or an old tire. :P
