What do you think is the funniest game on Wii. I think it is Madworld, but House of The Dead Overkill is also funny.

Oh, WarioWare: Smooth Moves. No contest. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard playing a videogame.

Super Paper Mario takes the cake for me. The dialogue is absolutely hilarious, even though there's way too much of it. I don't think I would've liked the game whatsoever if it hadn't been so funny.

I haven't played HoTD: Overkill but I think TOS Dawn of the New World is pretty funny in a corny kinda of way.

Madworld is the funniest game you can possibly get on Wii.

The reason, the absolute best anouncer/commentators are in the game continually letting you know what they think.

Oh ya, I kinda forgot about that one. That world with the nerd guy who captures your butterfly pixl was brilliant. It's unfortunate that they buried it under so much text and boring gameplay. NMH was hilarious too. Travis' repartee with various bosses and characters... and the bosses themselves... and just watching Travis go from butchering people to mowing their lawns... gah, it was just so amusing. Strong Bad is very funny too if you understand the running jokes. There are some that are unintentionally funny though, like Agitha the crazy bug girl from TP and Leon's idiotic comebacks in RE4. Haven't played HoTD or Madworld yet, but they're on my list.

Worms: A Space Oddity is quite funny. The worm holes and trampolines can lead to some hilarious situations.

I don't know what the problem is with the gameplay either, you do what Mario does best instead of boring and dated turn-based battles.

The problem is that the platforming is basic and incredibly easy. If the game had platforming like, say, Super Mario Bros, 3, then I would've loved it. But it was just one easy platform to the next, for the most part, and switching from 2D to 3D got really tedious.

To each his own, though. I still don't mind recommending it to people because they'll either like the dialogue, the gameplay, or both.

I don't think basic and easy platforming is something bad (Wario Land platforming was basic and easy too imo) and flipping from 2D to 3D was not a problem for me,you never need it for excessive amount of time.

I think the main problem is some people wanted a full RPG and others wanted a full platformer.

So on one hand one guy is disappointed because the game is not turn based and the RPG element is not deep enough and the other guy is annoyed by the huge amount of text.

I think that's pretty accurate, but I also think it's the result of a lack of focus in the game. It has average platforming and average RPG elements as a result of not taking a strong focus on either. The RPG elements are very weak, but that would be fine if the platforming elements were stronger, and vice versa. So I'm basically saying that you're absolutely right. Personally, I didn't really care whether it was a strong platformer or a strong RPG, because I like both genres, but I was disappointed that it wasn't strong in either. The hybrid turned out to be less effective than it seemed on paper.

Thank you Captain Pun

My vote goes for anything with the Rabbids, they seem funny and harmless but also have that way about them that if you sit too close they'll cut you

Ooh you made a pun! I sees it.

But also Steph, it's not just that the platforming was easy - you are misinterpreting me. It's that it was also repetitive and unimaginative. Without new, interesting platforming sequences and without difficulty, it made the gameplay boring. You need at least either a challenge or imaginative level design to make platforming interesting. Lacking both, it was boring.

Additionally, it's not that I don't like reading; it's that the text was excessive. I love RPGs. But a lot of that text was unnecessary and annoying. I tried to get someone else to play, starting a new game. They gave up after 15 minutes. They said, "can I move yet???" There is way too much narration and exposition for a game so thin on plot.

The characters in De Blob remind me of the Rabbids, if a bit ... more pleasant. The CG cutscenes in De Blob are pretty funny and creative.

I really liked the levels and puzzles, unimaginative sound a little harsh imo but sorry you felt that way. ;)

Level design have to be terrible like in No More Heroes or The Godfather to bore me.

Excessive text is true but the plot is great and that was the main reason i liked the game along with the humor.

First of all I want to say...I thought about it for an hour but couldn't find anything funny in this game...lol

And I go with Rayman Raving Rabbids just cause their so cool and awesome and they will like throw a cow at you when you just look at the ground wrong or something.

That wins.

the Strongbad series is hysterical if you're a fan of the cartoon series--and I forgot about Super Paper Mario. That whole section with the nerd guy was seriously brilliant.

Also, let's not forget about Wii Music (not an insult, it's actually one of my favorite Wii games). Playing La Bamba with cat and dog suits=lolocaust.
