Funny Streetpass story.

Alright so I was in Costco today eating in the food court and I saw an Asian family with probably 5 or 6 kids, they were all playing DSs. When they got closer I could see that 3 of them had 3DSs and I was like, yesss, streetpass tiem. I had my 3DS on the table and sure enough as they walked by the green light lit up. They soon realized what was going on and got all excited, it was pretty funny. So they sat at the table in front of me and were talking amongst themselves pointing at me, lol. The funny part was though, they kept walking past me and they would slip their 3DS in their pocket and then pull it out once they passed me, thinking they could tag me again, haha. Before that, I only had 2 streetpass tags, and I have had mine since launch. Now, in one day I got 3 more in less then a minute.

Haha, nice story, the kids couldn't hide the excitement. the only tags I got until now are mostly from Gamestop employees.

I don't have a 3DS yet but i'd be pretty excited too if I managed to get a Streetpass hit. :D

I have had 5 street passes :)

ive had 6 but one guy i tagged already had 80 but to be fair but he was from a city.

I'm third year going into fourth.

try walking through a major mall in an upscale area. That works for me. Gamestop has sucked for me No hits except the display unit one day.

I go to RIT for game design, so I get a lot of tags. Whenever I spend an evening working on a project in the game dev labs I usually get a least five tags just while I'm sitting getting my dev on. Nerd school is awesome.

When I get a 3DS (and I literally pray for that time to come around soon) I probably won't find a lot of hits. People went crazy over the PSP here, just a bit excited for the 3DS, then forgot all about handheld gaming. I've only seen ONE person with a 3DS in public. ONE.

CORRECTION: just a bit excited for the DS.

My funniest story was when I went to a mall on Saturday while easter. I knew there will be a lot of people and took my 3DS with me in hope to get new StreetPass data. But it didn't work. When I came home, somewhat disappointed, I just put it on the docking station. Suddendly I saw that the Led started to flash green. I started looking around and realised that there was an 50+ years old man, walking with his dog and a 3DS in his pocket.
