this is sorta off topic, but one time,(my neighbor(who is a teacher of second grade)toldme this), they were taking a spelling test, and the word was "we" and a bunch of kids spelled it wii.
OK, no one I know pronounces it funny, but I remember on this IGN podcast, the main presenter (Damon Hatfield I think his name is) said his dad looked at it and said "What's with this W I I" (he spelt out the letters)
I couldn't stop laughing! (with the accent he put on, it was really funny)
