Well if the black wii mote and nun-chuk are coming out soon, then the Black wii is inevitably going to come out as well, or else it just wouldn't fit properly, a white wii with a black wii mote and nunchuk. Hopefully we don't get a black wii too far after Europe does.

Come on. How many people out there are saying, "I didn't like the Wii enough to buy one, but now that it's black I'm getting it." OR "now that there's a black Wii available, I'm putting my perfectly good white Wii on ebay and buying the black one."?

Actually, with the putting it on ebay thing just to buy a black one, I wouldn't be surprised if a whole lot of people do that. I mean, I think that's ridiculous, but some people have to have the right color scheme for their entertainment center and other nonsense.

If it does come to the US, I plan to get rid of my white Wii and get the black Wii.

My Wiimotes aren't working too well so I'll probably pick up a black Wiimote and nunchuk. :P

If you think it's worth the price, go for it. It just seems like a waste of money to me. You can already have a black Wii, all you need is a tri-wing screwdriver and a can of black spray paint.

If you think the Wii remote and nunchuk get too many finger prints on them now, try that yourself. Not to mention, it's not just "take them apart and paint them."

There would be prep work involved like sanding it enough so the paint would stick. If someone really wanted to do that, and want good results... they'd sand, clean, primer coat, sand, primer coat, paint, wet sand, paint, wet sand, clear coat, etc.

People don't understand, if you want good results, painting takes time, and is a lengthy process. Especially with plastics that were a completely different color. And, if you want the colors to last (whatever you color you paint it in), you'd have to have that step by step process in order for the colors to stay.

My white Wii has nostalgic value to it, so I can't get rid of it.

I spent months trying to get it, I don't want to give it up.

I will be getting the black Wii remote, but replacing my Wii entirely just because of the color? Nonsense.

It's one of Nintendo's biggest strategies cause it works so well. Remember how big of an impact diferent colors had on the original Gameboy? it's crazy

Sooo true. This wii has no qualifications or improvements on the previous one. Is it going to do anything differently? Hm? People are only supporting it because it's black!!!

Nintendo should release a limited edition gold Wii with the launch of the next Zelda game. Imagine that with a gold Wii-mote and nunchuck! Anyway, the black looks nice but I wouldn't trade in my Wii for it. A red Wii would be pretty cool too.

I guess I give people too much credit sometimes.

To whoever is replacing your white wii for a black wii, did you think about your save data? That's the number one thing. I think the black wii looks a lot cooler than the white wii but think about your save data. What will become of it?
