Futuristic Zelda Rumor?

Okay, so a few weeks ago I was talking to this one kid over messenger, and he said there was a rumor going around that the next Zelda game for the Wii will be set in a futuristic world where Link wears a leather jacket and shades and wields a shotgun instead of a crossbow, and drives a motorcycle named 'Epona'. Like Ganon is some rich corporation owner and he took over Hyrule, making it into a polluted city.

Has anyone else heard of a rumor like this one, or do you think it's just a big cloud of smoke? At first the idea seemed kinda lame to me but the more I think about it, it could be kinda cool.

A gun is more like a crossbow than a longbow, in my opinion. More powerful, two shots at a time, you get the picture.

i never heard that rumor. i did hear about some 'almost' modern zelda. like hyrule was set in a steampunk era, with trains and such. it was called "legend of zelda: valley of deluge"

the rumor said miyamoto was referring to something called "project: deluge" a while back
