Galaxy's Release Date??

Release dates really confuse me. Some people have said that it's coming out on monday, but at a store I saw a poster that said it would be available on the 13. So if anyone knows what the release date is, then please tell me.

according to toys are us... tuesday.. so 13

I think most stores are saying Tuesday or Wednesday, even though there may be a couple of them that release on Monday. Others may not get it until Friday...

I agree with you that release dates on games are really confusing and even frustrating. I don't understand how retailers can promise that DVDs and music CDs will be on the shelves on Tuesdays, but there always seems to be a 4 day window for games.

This really frustrates me too. I mean, for a game as anticipated as SMG, you'd think that there would be some sort of unified release. You can bet that everyone will start selling GTAIV on the same day. Anyway...

Does anyone know of any store chains that will actually start selling SMG tomorrow (Monday)? I really want to start playing as soon as possible.

Many Best Buys are already selling it. My release date was yesterday :). But Tuesday is the official.dieasgrey

GameStop tells me they'll have them Tuesday early afternoon. I pre-ordered, and they're expecting to sell out.umd1998

im thinking some gamespots might have the copies ready right now since nintendo already sent the game to many of their stores for deo purposes. why would nintendo ship only one game instead of shipping all their copies to get out of the way?

The problem is tomorrow (Monday) is a holiday, so the mail isnt running. Soo, I imagine that its the stores that dont already have them in stock that will be selling it on Tuesday.
