Good morning:

Looking for recommendations for Hunting titles for my nephew who's 10. He's big on game hunting (real life) in all its varieties, but there's a lot of shovelware in this genre I'd like to avoid if at all possible, but reviews are sparse.

Thanks,

Boz

No Hunters, eh?

Me neither, though I was hoping somebody was out there.

Best bet in lieu of responses would be go hit youtube, type in "wii gameplay" and checkout some videos of the various games in action. This is a great tool to see it before you buy it and also get comments from the person who posted the video.

I'm not a hunter in real life but the best hunting games are the Cabela games. They look good graphically, the gameplay is good on most of them (Do Not get Trophy Bucks though), Big Game Hunter Series, African Safari, Dangerous Hunts and such are really good games at least in my opinion.

Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2010 is pretty solid, lots of replay value and good graphics. I bought the $49 version (vs $39)which includes an orange wii gun. Some of the prior Cabela games were poor by most reviews, so I'd avoid buying older Cabela hunting titles.
