Game Idea- Guitar Hero: Nintendo Version

I don't know if this has been thought up of before, but I think it would be fun.

It would have characters, performance places, and songs from all over Nintendo games. The game would mix in some non-nintendo songs as well.

Each character would get a "rocker" make-over. Mario would have his hat sideways and have longer hair. Link would not his hat and would wear a green t-shirt and jeans. Olimar's hair would be huge and spiky, maybe green. Kirby would...I have no idea.

An interesting addition to the game would be unique "star power" for each character. Mario's would be similar to the standard one, except everything turns red. (Like fire) Pikachu would zap all the current notes of the screen, giving lots of points and a quick breather. Olimar would get 5 pikmin behind him that would be back-up guitarists that get rid of his next 5 mistakes. The list goes on.

Any thoughts? I think it's likely since we got a DDR Mario version.

Well I like the star power idea... but I rather have the Nintendo characters in their original uniforms except for Kirby. He should look like Mike Kirby

It would be cool if they had Nintendo songs and such.

And I suppose if someone suggested that Sony have their own kind of version, you would think it cool...or would you call people Sony fanboys for thinking it cool? Growing up with Nintendo, I think it would be a pretty cool idea though I highly doubt we will see it. I would find it interesting if each system had their own GH version (Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft with their respective systems) however that would lend itself to be a console war thing and the flames would never go out.

I don't think it's likely, but it's not entirely out of the question. With the quick release of GH: Aerosmith, I wouldn't put it past Activision and Nintendo's teaming up. But even with that said, I don't think it'll happen. It would be pretty cool, though. Some of the DDR remixes were pretty sweet.

....what? We already have GH3 and will have GH:A. I don't think Activision would opt to replace the "real one" with a Nintendo-themed one, seeing as how amazingly GH3 has sold on the Wii. If anything, it would be given to a smaller team, since 1) Wii games already get handed to smaller teams, and 2) the base coding is already there, they just need to work with Nintendo on the franchise stuff.

But again, I don't see it happening, unless Nintendo approaches Activision about it first. That doesn't seem likely.

Just have DLC where you can download Nintendo venues, nintendo characters, nintendo branded guitars, and nintendo song, imagine playing to the super mario theme song or any other mario beat, or the legend of zelda theme, metroid etc
