No no, it's not that they're remaking the wrong games, it is the fact they are remakes. The games that people want remade are fine how they are and should be appreciated. We should not be buying the same game over and over and over again just due to nostalgia.
Final Fantasy III was fine because it was never released over here, but we've all played Chrono Trigger, and if you haven't, it can be purchased on PS1 and I'm sure it'll make an appearance on the VC eventually. I personally would rather companies work on new applications and fresh titles than just relying on the same old junk.
I love the old school games, but let's keep them where they belong, in the past, remember them for what they gave us and respect them for what they did for gaming.
You guys all have good ideas. Some of them are already in the works though. I still must say that I'd love to have:
1. Chrono Trigger
2. Radical Dreamers
3. Chrono Cross
Those are the greatest games of all time. A new Chrono game would be awesome too! AHHH! Chrono Series 4 Lyfe!!!!
For a SNES Classics Line up:
Chrono Trigger
Secret of Mana (3 people playing that game was awesome)
Super Mario RPG
Earthbound
Super Metroid
Super Punchout
NES CLassics:
Kid Icarus

I agree with most of that, but I think having a masterpiece such as Chrono Trigger on the DS would be really good just for the convenience of being able to play it whenever and wherever you want. A remake might soil it's good name, so basically, I think I'd rather a port than a remake.
