Practically all Virtual Console games, then you have Smash Bros. Brawl, and a few others, just look at the back of game boxes to see their compatibility.

you can check that on the boxes or in the virtual console service. it's not like u wanna buy any game just because u can use the classic controller, aren't you?

Well every single Virtual Console game uses it although, why you would use it on NES and Master System games I don't know as the Wii-mote does just fine, due to the button layout being simple, as for Wii games most what I have that tend to use it are beat-em-up's both Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and Guilty Gear XX Accent core use it, although I am sure there are a few games that are multiplatform that will use it since it will be the PS2 control scheme most of the time, but as some one said check the back of the case, although it defeats the object of getting a game on the Wii just becuase it uses the classic controller.

As far as the total number of games that you can play with the classic controller, I'm sure that there are numerous games. Yet, I bought the classic controller strictly for Super Mario World. Its a game that I wanted to play in its original form, or as close as possible to its original form.
