Gameboy sp charger work fine with fat DS?

So I've lost my DS charger, and I have my sp charger on hand, and was wondering if it will work wit the fat DS. If so, will it mess anything up in any way? I'm also considering just getting a lite... but anwyays, thanks for any feedback.

The SP charger works perfectly fine with DS Phat.

The chargers are the same thing.

When I got my phat ds i read the manuel(plz don't tell me no one reads the manuel i know) and it said u can't use sp chargers

I read the manual and it said it wouldn't work. I tried it and it works 100%!!!! :shock:

Not sure if it will effect the battery though.
